There are about 200 million kids across the globe with rare disease. RARE Science accelerates finding therapies for kids with rare and undiagnosed disease by empowering patient families/foundations with tools that help with community awareness and patient outreach.

The RARE Bears help start the conversation through education and awareness to improve early diagnosis, and support RARE Science research programs to help accelerate finding cures for kids with rare disease.

Choose fun fabrics or use your scraps to make a one-of-a-kind lovable bear.  We have kits that include the pattern, stuffing, special BEAR-NINA “feet” fabric and a tag with a registration number to help track your bear.  If you want to receive a photo of your bear with its RARE child recipient, go www.rarescience.org/bernina/ to register your bear tag number and your contact information.

 Two BEAR-NINA sew-ins are scheduled

Wednesday, May 3 and Saturday, June 3  from 1-5pm

Come, make a bear and join the Rare Bear Army!
